For more than a year, members of ACT have conducted a grass roots listening campaign to find out what one thing persons in our county would change if they could. Both Affordable Housing and Gun Violence were dominant issues. Now it is time to finish up with a few last listening sessions and to go into ACTion.
This will be both a heartbreaking and uplifting event -- we who have been can assure you of that. You will hear stories of need, of loss, and of hope. You will hear not only problems but solutions You will see strength and courage. And you will see hear our county leaders -- the County Executive, the Mayor of Annapolis, and the Police Chiefs, respond in person to our community demands for gun safety and affordable housing.
