#FreeThem All – Let’s re-think America’s prison obsession

Like the thought-provoking “Defund the Police” campaign, AFSC next week asks that Friends give attention to young African-American activists’ campaign to reverse America’s world-leading mass-incarceration and to fundamentally change U.S. prisons titled  #FreeThem All.

Commemorating the anniversary of the Attica prison uprising, two webinars– 9/8 and 9/13 –can educate Friends.  A webpage also offers opportunities to join–or organize–a national “Week of Action” event and/or to sign online petitions for COVID-protection of prisoners.
