REPARATIONS? -A MEETING FOR LEARNING

More than 150 years after the abolition of slavery, white households on average hold about 10x more assets than African-American households.  U.S. treaties with Native-American tribes continue to be disregarded. “People of color” today still suffer traffic-stops, arrest and incarceration more than twice as often as whites.

Are Quakers called to advocate for “reparations”--to repair our racial divide and to deconstruct the American caste system? Register to join us for  a Meeting for Learning presentation by our AFM Change Group on why and how Annapolis Friends might take action - First Day, 1/31/21 - 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
