The following message to Annapolis Friends Meeting (AFM) from Ann Riggs concerns work she and fellow AFM Friend, Dorothy Walizer have engaged in on behalf of the World Council of Churches and their planned pilgrimage to the 11th Assembly of the World Council of Churches gathering this week in Germany to confront and address world problems.
"Dear Friends,
As I get ready to go to the 11th Assembly of the World Council of Churches, I thought I would share some resources with you. Here is a link for the report on the years of work from the 10th Assembly in 2013:

Dot Walizer [fellow member of Annapolis Meeting] was expected to be participating in person as well but is unable to fly at the moment and so will participate from afar.
This is a lot of work she and I have been up to in recent years. Your generous donations to the work of Friends General Conference Christian and Interfaith Relations Committee and to Friends United Meeting make this possible. Thank you!
In the Light,
Ann"
We wish Godspeed to Ann and all those who are gathering. With much gratitude for all that she and Dot do for Annapolis Friends Meeting, our community, and the world beyond. We hold you, fellow WCC travelers, and all those convening in the Light. Best wishes for all you undertake.
