As announced at Meeting for Business, AFM Ministry & Worship will be holding an in-person worship sharing on Sunday, January 29 at 9:15 am for input on the proposed newly revised sections of Faith & Practice on “The Quaker Experience” and “Meeting for Worship”. A Zoom only session will be held the same day at 12:45 (rise of the 11 am Meeting for Worship.)
This is a meaningful opportunity to deeply consider our faith and practice as Friends in BYM. We are asked to consider what
resonates or challenges us, if anything, and any suggestions for improvement to these sections. Please know that all are welcome, regardless of the time you have been associated with Friends.
In case you did not see the announcement in the recently distributed BYM newsletter, the BYM Faith & Practice Committee is holding two Zoom Sessions for corporate discernment in seasoning the proposed revision on the “Life of the Spirit” section. One is tomorrow, Jan. 14th at 10am-11:30am as well as one on Jan 19th at 7pm-8:30pm. To register, click on the dates in this email or look at the BYM Announcements that were circulated.
