Friends – Supporting the Annapolis Pride Festival

The AFM Outreach Committee will have a booth at the Annapolis Pride Festival on Saturday, June 1. We support Annapolis Pride’s mission to: “Create a friendly, inclusive, and vibrant community where all people thrive.”

Annapolis Friends Meeting is a worship community that is LGBTQ+ friendly. We embrace people of all races, religions, sexual orientations, national origins, abilities, and ages.

Join us! We will have a booth at Maryland Hall (801 Chase St, Annapolis, MD 21401). We plan on being a Friendly/friendly presence and provide information about “Quakers” and our Meeting.

AFM would particularly LOVE to see some young (young-ish?) Friends participate - our banner says "Quakers, we're not what you think!"
The hours of the festival are 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. To lend your help in staffing the table contact: info@annpolisfriends.org

* The Annapolis Friends adopted a Minute in 1995 for Same Sex Commitments that in part reads: We affirm the goodness of committed loving relationships and offer recognition and support to those who share this ideal and desire to enter into a permanent relationship based upon it.
