Watch the welcoming video by Ben and Thistle for the 2025 Gathering….

Annapolis Friends will gather in person (in the AFM large classroom) on select days and time to attend programs.

The first program we will be sharing at AFM: Saturday, Feb 1, 8 pm -9:30 – Plenary presentation – Daquanna Harrison

Daquanna attends Adelphi Friends Meeting in Prince George’s County, Maryland.  She is the owner of Elevation Educational Consulting Group and is a professor at Baltimore City Community College.  Folks in the Washington and Baltimore areas might know Daquanna’s long-time work as an educator, or through her presentations on diversity and belonging among Quaker communities.

Says the Gathering Plenary Committee: “Daquanna encourages Quakers to step beyond their comfort zones and move forward with courage and strong, clear action. The Gathering Plenary Committee is excited not only by the depth of Daquanna’s message but by her dynamic approach that bridges the sacred and the practical. Her plenary will illuminate the pathway for Quakers to uphold their prophetic voice, reinforcing the understanding that spiritual integrity is found in the courageous examination of ourselves and our communities, as well as in the commitment to push forward toward transformation and healing. ~ Sharing and snacks follow

We hope to see you at the Meetinghouse.

There will be other programs on subsequent days. Stay tuned!
