Members from Annapolis Friends Meeting sponsored a table at the 30th annual Kunta Kinte Festival honoring and celebrating the perseverance, education, and cultural heritage of Africans, African Americans, and Caribbean people of African descent. Quakers shared with festival attendees our commitment to equality and stewardship within our community, as well as participating in other outreach like registering new voters and sharing green initiatives; attendees were especially happy to make use of the electric vehicle charging station setup by one AFM member. We look forward to participating again next year!
