The Baltimore Yearly Meeting (BYM) Unity with Nature Committee works to express concerns regarding the environment and our place within it. As stated by the committee, the buildup of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is leading to greater heat retention in the atmosphere with destructive consequences to the life resilience of our beloved creation at tremendous cost. The challenge is for each person to calculate their own carbon footprint. In this way we can feel, sense and know how our individual activities have an impact on the environment.
