Eagle Scout Trent

Trento Joseph Castricone

Dear Eagle Scout Trent,

Congratulations on attaining the highest ranking within Scouting. The realization of this outstanding achievement demonstrates your ability to build a foundation that can lead to successes and accomplishments throughout your life.

The Eagle Scout ceremony held on June 15 was filled with symbolism and meaning. The attendees, which were more than 50 in the hall and several online, acknowledged and applauded your many accomplishments. The outpouring of love and support was evident.

The Annapolis Friends Meeting (AFM) is most appreciative for your leadership and organizational skills applied to your Eagle Scout project where you designed and facilitated the building of comfortable benches at the West River Quaker Burial Grounds in Galesville, MD.

Well done!

*** The rest of the story … Trent’s uncle, Tim Mullady, was both Trent’s Scout Leader and mentor as Trent engaged in the journey towards becoming an Eagle Scout. During the ceremony on Saturday, June 15, 2024 that was held at the Londontowne Community Hall, Trent’s brother, Chris Castricone, was the Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) and facilitated the ceremony. The hall was packed with friends, family and many Scouts and there were more participants online. Trent recognized those who have helped him along the way (parents, broader family, mentors) and speakers shared funny stories of shared experiences, including some involving rain and other camping mishaps.

Friends are encouraged to congratulate Trent on this wonderful accomplishment and to support Chris as he follows in his brother’s footsteps.

Annapolis Friends Meeting is so very glad to have Tim, Trent and Chris involved with the Meeting and part of our community. Tim started bringing Trent and Chris to First Day School (a.k.a., Sunday School) when they were quite young. It has been a pleasure for so many Friends to be part of their growth and development.
