Go build (and fly) a kite – for PEACE! On March 29th

This Action for Peace is from - Friends Place on Capitol Hill - a Quaker learning center and guesthouse.

Dear Friends –

Join us at Friends Place on Capitol Hill on Saturday, March 29, to design and create kites for peace!

We [Friends Place] will provide all the necessary materials for you to create your own peace kites. No kite building experience is required. People of all ages are welcome!

Come to Friends Place on Capitol Hill (515 East Capitol St. NE) at 11 a.m. to build your kite. At around 12:30 p.m. we will walk to the Mall to fly our kites at the Blossom Kite Festival. DC’s famous cherry blossoms will be at full peak by then.

Please RSVP by March 26, so we have enough materials for everyone to build.
