Library Committee
- Organizes and maintains AFM's books, pamphlets, magazines and videos on the shelves.
- Manages books that are checked out and the returns.
- Orders new books and considers books that are requested. Appropriate books will be added.
- Processes and catalogs new books into the system to ensure they are listed in the online database.
- Renews and maintains subscriptions to Friends Journal*, Quaker Life*, and Pendle Hill pamphlets*.
- Selects books and pamphlets for the Query of the Month and displays them on the counter shelf.
- Informs the Communications Committee about the Query of the Month books.
- Maintains and refreshes the Information Shelf in the Foyer located adjacent to the Worship Room.
The Library Committee encourages Friends to ask for their help when trying to find a book or when searching for a book by topic.

- * Quaker Life is a publication with articles reflecting on Friends United Meeting (FUM)
- * Pendle Hill is a Quaker retreat and study center that offers courses of short duration or long duration. Pendle Hill publishes short pamphlets on many Quaker topics.
