The Green Group…
The Green Group is a gathering of Annapolis Friends that embraces the Quaker testimony of stewardship. We invite you to join us in our Spirit-led work to face the daunting challenges of climate change and the need to protect those vulnerable to it. Using our individual and collective resources, we educate ourselves and each other about the best ways to protect water, land, and air; to support biodiversity; and to seek environmental justice for all. We respect the values of those who came before us, who lived in harmony with nature, who lived simply and sustainably—and were rooted in the belief that all life is sacred. We welcome your participation on this journey to discern what it is ours to do to protect Mother Earth and to educate our Meeting and community. We welcome you to our monthly meeting on Zoom and to participate in the work we undertake at the Meetinghouse.
