ACT Meets for Retreat at AFM –

Program Information and Photos

Annapolis Friends Meeting hosted Anne Arundel Connecting Together (ACT) on June 10th for their Discernment Retreat. AFM is a supporting member of ACT.

ACT notes that they have been “…involved in a Listening Campaign involving over 1000 people! In June, we gathered together to reflect on everything we’ve learned and to make plans for how we’ll tackle these issues in our community. So far, the issues that have risen to the top are Mental Health, Affordable Housing, concern for kids in schools, and Gun Violence.” Click here for more information about ACT and its (free) Summer Training for individuals and groups who want to see positive change in their community.
