Annapolis Friends Meeting actively supports the Light House Homeless Prevention Support Center. The Light House Center has served the community as a basic needs provider of food, shelter and support services for over 25 years.
For several years, Annapolis Friends Meeting has partnered with Magothy United Methodist Church on Mountain Road in Pasadena to provide shelter under the umbrella of Winter Relief, a program run by the nonprofit Arundel House of Hope to provide temporary winter shelter for the homeless in North County and Annapolis. The historic church provides the space for this initiative, and Annapolis Friends Meeting helps to provide donations and volunteer staff.
